EID President & CEO Engages in Harvard Smart Cities Innovation Accelerator

President & CEO Karl Sanchack is in Boston, MA today at Harvard participating in the Smart City Innovation Accelerator Program event hosted by the university. It is here that city representatives from around the United States have gathered to network and discuss smart city initiatives and urban development.

At its core, "The Smart Cities Innovation Accelerator program helps strategic urban planners, chief innovation officers, technology officers and economic development leaders establish strategies and an actionable digital plan for their city. The 2-day program (Monday-Tuesday) is a hands-on, immersion accelerator for your city’s future where you will work alongside fellow city leaders, industry experts, Harvard Fellows, and researchers." This is an invitation only program for senior-most executives in the public sector, technology, start-up communities and higher education.

"We collaborated across 30+ cities to present and share concepts like Digital Roles, Rights and Rules (DR3), said Sanchack. My thanks to Harvard Tech for hosting and Accenture, City Possible, NTT, Oracle, and Zen City for sponsoring."
