Erie Innovation District Makes Big Move
If you've been following the progress of the Erie Innovation District throughout 2018, there is a good chance that you found it hard to keep up at times. There have been a tremendous amount of announcements pertaining to things such as the smart city initiatives, startup attraction and retention, as well as the multiple coordinated efforts with the various partners who have helped make these outcomes a reality.
Needless to say, there have been a tremendous amount of "moves" made, however, the most recent move takes on a more literal form, as today the Erie Innovation District has announced that it will be relocating its headquarters to the new Velocity Network building on West 10th Street in Downtown Erie.
The new space will be home to the Velocity Network team, as well as all EID team members and the respective startups that will participate with the SEA (Secure Erie Accelerator) program in 2019.
EID is thankful for its tremendous partner, Velocity Net, for making this a reality, as this coordinated collaboration will be vital to the progress of reshaping our downtown infrastructure, attracting and retaining new companies and talent and promoting economic growth for years to come.
